In this role, you will be part of a newly established team to solve critical Type 6 issues in the field. This initiative has high visibility and is very critical to ensure business success. Responsibilities overlook the complete resolution cycle, from case creation till engines are back in operation, including all metrics.

 Essential Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain relationships with internal and external key decision makers 
  • take leadership of issues and get them resolved in an independent work environment
  • Leadership and development of Type 6 unplanned cases and Type 6 fleet program cases (dashboard (KPI’s) / tracking)
  • Provide regular status updates regarding Type 6 fleet performance and engine availability (report out) to (senior) leadership
  • Drive worldwide processing of Type 6 unplanned cases and Type 6 fleet program cases (act as main point of contact)
  • Lead independent and early identification of potential Type 6 issues of our installed base (=fleet)
  • Cooperation with internal stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Sourcing, etc.) as well as Suppliers to ensure cost refunding (vendor recovery)
  • Keeping records in fleet program database up-to-date in order to ensure dashboard accuracy
  • Monitor and support the Type 6 part, tool and technician availability
  • Coordinate 24/7 support and lead effective internal escalations
  • Proactively supporting root cause analysis (RCAs) 
  • Roll out and maintain Standard Labor Times
  • Execution of Concessions

 Qualifications / Requirements

  • Technical background (electrical / mechanical apprenticeship or HTL), additional commercial degree is beneficial (e.g. Bachelor in the field of BA)
  • Strong experience in project management
  • Strong continuous improvement and change management skills
  • Fluent in English and German (negotiation level), strong communicator
  • Multi Task manage multiple projects simultaneously and ability to establish priorities and initiate problem solving techniques in a very dynamic environment
  • Hands on mentality and open mind-set
  • Team player and highly reliable with a high Say-Do ratio
  • Strong customer focus / experience, troubleshooting and influencing skills
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)  

 Desired Characteristics

  • Experience with Jenbacher product range and ERP systems appreciated
  • Relevant industry experience, preferably in Services 
  • Quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Ability to interface and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desired
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.301,13 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
