The Business Partner for INNIO Waukesha – Services, Commercial & Supply Chain, will report functionally to the Head of Business Partner and support the Business functions of INNIO Jenbach. This role will be responsible for providing overall IT strategic direction, program execution, and operational excellence aligned with strategic imperatives.

In this position, you will be responsible for

  • Connecting the dots through business Stakeholder’s eyes with a keen ability to sift through the clutter of data
  • Articulating the business strategy and alignment of prioritized IT initiatives to achieve faster, more efficient and measurable outcome
  • Comprehending IT needs of your functional area in all detail to be able to advise on needs in terms of hardware, software and infrastructure
  • Developing and executing IT strategies to enable growth and productivity
  • Applying strong consulting, facilitation and negotiation experience (preferably with external customers)
  • Succinct executive level verbal and written business communication in non-IT lingo. Be the advocate digitalization, push to apply digital technologies to minimize effort/maximize output
  • Planning and prioritizing feature backlog within the team of business partners and transparently communicate back to business stakeholders
  • Driving a common digital strategy, ensure ownership on data, system, processes agreed
  • Creating the strategic roadmap and co-ordinates the work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher-level outcomes. Responsible for transparent delivery and maximizing returns
  • Ensuring that business analysts, consulting team and data experts always have an adequate amount of prior prepared tasks to work on
  • Having analytical skills to measure and drive key business decisions on process & systems to enable the overall company success
  • Driving business case development (Executive Summary, Initiative Description, Current Situation and Need for Change, options, schedule, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Risk-Change Management)
  • Having portfolio management skills to help you to constantly keep an overview of ongoing IT initiatives
  • Own the lifecycle, TCO, and license management of legacy functional applications (60+ apps). Ongoing benefit review, trigger relevant activities to consolidate, retire, cloud migration – be an active IT owner, with a focus on continuous simplification

Your profile

  • Engineering, software, mathematical degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years working experience in the Supply Chain, Sourcing, Inventory, Service and/or Commercial area
  • Consulting/Design/Solution architect experience in one or more pillar IT applications (Oracle ERP, CRM, MES)
  • Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience implementing and supporting global Customer Relationship Management (Saleforce.com), Enterprise Resource Planning (Oracle) and Digital Media (Web, Collaboration Technologies)
  • Industry 4.0 and/or IOT knowledge
  • Industry knowledge is helpful, but consulting skills and the leverage of business team members are more important.  The same is true for Technology as you rely on your IT background and/or leverage the IT expertise in the organization
  • Effective organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, communication, organization and leadership skills
  • Clear business process thinking and understanding of end-to-end business flows skills, able to translate business requirements into IT solutions and technical issues into business terms
  • High level of energy, self-motivation, positive mindset and a strong customer focus with balanced service thinking
  • Able to understand the macro environment while being able to drop into the micro details
