Your Responsibilities:

  • Learn and apply methods to improve product costs of components/systems systematically (ABC analysis, value analysis, should costing, target costing, etc.)
  • Deep dive on specific components and compare technical and cost relevant features
  • Pro-actively collect ideas with product cost impact from various functions (e.g., Sourcing, Engineering, Service, Operations), evaluate and prioritize ideas based on given criteria’s
  • Support & lead the cross-functional initiation of projects under guidance of a mentor 
  • Support administrative activities within Product Line Management Team

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in economics or in a technical field (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical or process engineering) 
  • Full time preferred, part time with max. 20 hours/week possible
  • First project management experience is desired
  • High motivation and ability to work independently
  • Clear and precise communication style, feeling comfortable in a diverse, international and very dynamic environment
  • Very good MS-Office and analytic skills 
  • Fluent in English, German or any other languages are a plus
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)


The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.548,82 gross per month (x 14).
