Description
The Senior Communications Manager (m/f/d) for Internal/External, Sustainability & Employer Branding Communications will develop and execute integrated communication campaigns that promote the company’s sustainability initiatives, strengthen our employer brand, and support major business transformations. This role is critical to ensure internal and external stakeholders understand the company’s long-term strategy/vision, culture, and business priorities. The Senior Communications Manager (m/f/d) helps position the company as an employer of choice and a responsible, forward-thinking industrial leader.

Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal and external communication activities to support business goals, change management, cultural initiatives
- Design and deliver employer branding communication campaigns to attract, engage, and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s values and strategic objectives. The goal is to build long-term a strong employer brand on an international level
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sustainability and ESG initiatives
- Advise senior leadership; prepare and coordinate sensitive communications materials, such as FAQs and talking points for leadership
- Create and maintain compelling content for digital workplace platforms (e.g., intranet, VivaEngage), newsletters, town halls, executive messages, press releases, sustainability reports, social media, and careers website
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communications (internal/external, sustainability and employer branding), providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments related to sustainability, internal communications, and employer branding
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
- Extensive experience in corporate communications, with a focus on internal and/or sustainability/ESG topics
- Fluent in both German and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex topics for various channels and audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong project management abilities
- Proven ability to work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- High level of cultural awareness and experience in a global setting
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms
- Knowledge of data privacy and legal compliance in communications is preferred
