About Us:
By combining a rich legacy in the power and gas compression space with pioneering technology, INNIO brings our customers affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions for today—and tomorrow. We are helping to meet today’s energy needs with 64 GW of installed capacity and 48,000 of our powerful Jenbacher and Waukesha engines, which can be found in more than 100 countries. And, by harnessing our history of energy industry firsts along with the power of digital innovation, we will continue to deliver for the future. It’s time to take engines to a place no one else can. Welcome to a World of Innovation and Inspiration. Welcome to INNIO!
About the role:
Key responsibilities:
- Develop multibody dynamic system models of our reciprocating gas engine gensets in various application/ integrations.
- Integrate and co-simulate with other physics domains, including flexible bodies and powertrain.
- Validate simulation models by correlating results with physical test data (e.g., vibration and modal testing).
- Provide timely and accurate simulation results to support design decisions and attribute target setting throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop automated workflows and scripts using languages like Python to improve simulation efficiency and throughput.
- Create comprehensive technical reports and presentations to communicate simulation findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to expand technical knowledge and understanding of industrial gas engines
