The task of Data Engineers in INNIO starts at Ingestion and ends in providing Data Analysts, Scientists and BI developers with clean and well structured data models (as per Kimball). Tasks include building pipelines, implementing tests, interacting with other data team members and the business to investigate errors and ensure accurate implementation while adhering to software development principles in their work. 

 

Your tasks: 

  • Implement scalable and robust data pipelines to support analytics and data processing needs based on business specifications
  • Implement data tests to ensure data quality and stability for data consumers
  • Adhere to established software development and security policies
  • Test, monitor, and document your solutions
Your profile
  • Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, STEM or related field
  • Minimum 30 hours/week availability
  • Fluency in English
  • Fast learner with a proactive mindset, some experience in building data ingestion/transformation pipelines and tests 
  • Basic SQL knowledge and Python
  • Big advantage: PySpark, DBT, Databricks, Terraform, Dagster knowledge
  • Experience with any data engineering or cloud tools and understanding of core concepts, combined with eagerness to learn and adapt
