Who are we?
INNIO Jenbacher is one of the leading gas engines manufacturers globally, with organizations or partners on all continents. Each and every one of them contributes to a more efficient, cleaner and cheaper energy generation locally. Our engines have a power range from 330 kW to 10 MW and run on a variety of fuels, including natural gas, biogas, special gasses and for the future also hydrogen. The installations are maintained during their total life cycle. This is done, among other things, with remote monitoring and diagnosis. The Jenbacher factory (part of INNIO), is located in Jenbach, Austria.
What exactly do we do?
We sell and maintain gas engines, to end customers and service partners. The service work consists of installing, commissioning, doing small maintenance to major overhauls and fixing malfunctions of our gas engines.
What are you going to do?
The position of Service Sales Manager at INNIO Jenbacher Denmark is critical for developing the order intake funnel, prioritizing potential orders and translating these requests and quotations into orders to achieve growth. The task of the Service Sales Manager is to position and sell all Jenbacher service products such as long-term maintenance contracts, upgrades, major overhauls, transactional services and spare parts.
Who are you?
Main responsibilities:
- Contact person for customers regarding service sales in the Scandinavian market.
- The entire sales process from order request, scoping, to order and execution.
- This includes finding sales opportunities (active customer visits), processing requests, scoping determining win strategy and the closing / order intake.
- Development of a regional strategy to keep high customer satisfaction and development of customer-specific sales strategies.
- To achieve growth and thus increase market share.
- Close cooperation with end customers to identify possible or necessary new developments for service products.
- Supporting product teams with regard to new product developments.
- Presentation of INNIO Jenbacher Service products at trade fairs and customer events.
- Creating and presenting the regional revenue forecast based on market analyses for headquarter INNIO Jenbacher.
- Collaboration with Commercial Operations, Customer Service Management Operations departments and new Unit Sales.
- Cost/margin control to achieve business objectives.
- Support Customer Service Manager to receive outstanding payments from customers according to contractual obligations.
- Support operational service activities (f.i. collecting and processing engine running hours and forecasting preventive maintenance events)
Qualifications / Requirements
- Experience in services or similar work in mechanical engineering, preferably in the gas engine sector, in energy generation or small-scale energy central construction.
- Proven success in realizing diversified sales plans (product- and/or region-specific). Preferably market knowledge of the gas engines / CHP market.
- Willingness to visit customers in Scandinavia
- Knowledge Advanced Level (MS Office, Salesforce, ERP)
- Very good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management (both internal and external)
- Distinctive analytical skills
- Interpret and respond to tender documents in the spirit of INNIO Jenbacher and successfully negotiate them with the customer in the sales process
- Team player, able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills to turn concepts into structured and effective information for internal and external non-technical decision makers.
- Flexibility to support operational service activities
