Work Schedule/Structure:
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working 2-3 days onsite at our Waukesha, WI business headquarters.
Position Overview
The Oracle Solutions Architect - Supply Chain will provide architecture design and governance expertise while collaboratively working with various stakeholders and leadership in all functional areas to help achieve company objectives with an emphasis on the Supply Chain business.
Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of the process overarching the areas, starting from sales all the way to the realization of revenue, touching on activities related to contract management, billing, collections, etc.
- Host with business process evaluation workshops (as-is, to-be)
- Develop initiatives and best practices for continuous business process improvements.
- Design, develop and implement business processes to achieve organization goals.
- Track and communicate status of business initiative projects to management.
- Assist in providing cost/benefit analysis with the business
- Analyze business requirements and provide viable solutions with the appropriate toolsets.
- Model and demo solutions to the business
- Provide guidelines to the implementation teams in implementing the processes accepted by the business
- Coordinate and review the developments to be implemented with the identified toolsets
- Assist the implementation team in building the solutions fit for a given process
- Assist in budget planning, resource allocation, and schedule to implement process improvements
- Plan, implement and monitor business process
- Provide an impact analysis for designed or planned process changes
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the tools identified for or a component of a given process
- Assist in making business decisions relating to tool selection, system implementation, modification, maintenance, etc.
- Assist in development and maintenance of business process documentations that will be used as reference for preparing test cases, training documents, etc.
- Update business processes to meet changing business needs.
- Present analyses, solutions and business cases to senior management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team to develop business process requirements and future process maps
- Work on future transformational projects, together with the transformation team
- Support the enterprise architect team with decisions related to new solutions, enhancements and strategic IT decisions
Job Specific Knowledge
- Own processes related to Purchasing, Sourcing, Planning and Forecasting
- Gain understanding of tools related to supply chain related processes
- Support the business team in selecting tools to manage their processes
- Understand processes related to Oracle ERP Sourcing/ATP/ASCP/VCP/Demantra
- Provide/understand the integration logic for supporting systems
- Own and understand the design for supplier communication documents
- Own and understand the design of the supplier collaboration platform
- Own and understand the purchasing processes related to planning engines like ASCP, min-max, Kan-Ban and consignment process
- Oracle R12 and/or Oracle Fusion cloud consulting background
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of functional Oracle ERP consulting experience related to Supply Chain / Planning or related products
- Implementation experience of at least 5 company transforming projects (EX: ERP, Supply Chain, Planning etc.)
- Strong planning, organization & presentation skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment
- Willingness to travel based on business needs
- Thorough understanding of business processes
- Knowledge and expertise in using process-engineering software
- Capability of coordinating with other disciplines and clients
- Proven skills in routine process calculations and use of process software and in-house developed spreadsheets
- IT tools related technical background & expertise preferred
- Scrum certification a plus
