Role Summary 

The successful candidate will shape the vision and create the blueprint for the next 5-10 years, encompassing data & analytic technologies to connect all data sources across the enterprise. The candidate will be responsible for driving and implementing BI/Data Analytics projects across Distributed Power. The project will be executed in line with other major ERP implementations; mid-term the role will grow into the data analytics and visualization thought leader. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive the creation of a long-term BI visualization and analytics vision, aligned with overall business priorities
  • Develop and execute selection and implementation of the BI strategy, including all functions and sites of INNIO
  • Build strong team of IT and functional resources to deliver against the plan.
  • Align the plan with other key projects around ERP
  • Perform BI systems evaluation and selection of best fitting solution
  • Effectively communicate on scope and progress of the program, within the project team, and to senior leadership
  • Manage scope, time and risk in delivering high quality projects
  • Lead/build a team of internal and external project members to achieve project success
  • Continuously improve the BI visualization architecture, systems and underlying technology stack
  • Maintain and adjust a technology roadmap to remain contemporary with analytics solutions
  • Ensure that technical, support and user documentation is available and updated
  • Develop meaningful KPIs aligned with business goals, and drive action to meet agreed targets
  • Continuously review benefits and TCO of the BI technology stack
  • Collaborate with support team in defining new solutions driven by defects

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Business Management or any other stream or 5 + years of commensurate expierience 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on middle-high complexity Business Intelligence projects with a proven track record
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Tableau and/or other data visualization tools and Oracle DB
  • At least 3-5 years of experience with Oracle EBS R12 data logic and processes (GSCM, Finance, Services, Engineering, Sourcing, ITO/OTR)
