Description

The Senior Finance Project Manager (m/w/d) will spearhead projects aimed at enhancing revenue, profitability, and cash flow for Jenbacher Services business. This role involves leading initiatives to streamline and automate service finance processes, enforcing rigor and discipline around key service procedures, and conducting financial validation of business cases and initiatives.     
 
This role is filled in Jenbach in Tyrol, Austria.

Your Responsibilities:     
  • Lead projects assigned by Head of Service Controlling and VP Controlling aimed to increase revenue, profitability and/or cash for Jenbacher Services business
  • Independently identify opportunities which help to gain additional revenue / margin / cash for the business
  • Lead cross-functional projects with the aim to improve business performance, eliminate number of manual journal entries, simplify and automate service finance processes
  • Perform financial validation of business cases / initiatives / value creation programs: calculate margin, EBITDA, payback period, NPV; challenge business assumptions and data inputs received from business case owners
  • Prepare project plans for key projects / business cases / initiatives with key actions items, owners, deadlines and execution tracking
  • Interview key stakeholders, draw process maps for key service processes with risks and controls; assess wing-to-wing processes and identify weaknesses / gaps
  • Come up with potential solutions for gaps identified; select and drive implementation of best possible solution(s)
  • Support BI re-design to enable transparency, flexibility, sustainability, deeper analysis and efficient reporting solutions
  • Actively participate in monthly service reviews with Services Leader, be able to concisely explain the main tasks/projects completed, key results / benefits achieved and define the next steps if/when required
  • Liaise and collaborate with Operations and other Finance teams to solve complex accounting / service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions
  • Review and validate savings related to business initiatives (Value Creation Programs - VCPs)
Your Profile:     
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
  • Extensive professional financial experience
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; clearly communicate complex financial information
  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong excel skills
