As Lead Project Procurement, Supply Chain & Contracting Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of procurement, supply chain, and contracting activities for complex projects within the power plant engineering (PPE) division. Together with INNIO’s sourcing department you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services for power plant projects. This role requires deep expertise in project procurement, supply chain management, and contracting for EPC projects.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies for power plant projects
  • Coordinate all procurement, supply chain, and contracting activities throughout project lifecycle for PPE together with the sourcing department
  • Manage supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
  • Support technical and commercial contract negotiations and manage contractual risks, claims, and compliance.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services in line with project schedules and budgets.
  • Optimize supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, sourcing, construction, and finance teams to ensure alignment.
  • Support project execution, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
  • Interface with customers, contractors, and suppliers regarding procurement and contracting matters for PPE.
  • Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and value engineering in procurement and supply chain.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (BSc, MSc, Dipl.-Ing., or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in project procurement, supply chain, and contracting for EPC projects, preferably in power plant or industrial construction.
  • Proven expertise in supplier management, contract negotiation, and supply chain optimization.
  • Experience with procurement and supply chain tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Office).
  • Strong knowledge of contractual law, claims management, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Fluent in German and English (business level).
