We are looking for a Quality Team Leader who will be responsible for leading and developing a highperforming quality organization focused on delivering reliable measurements, testing, and assurance processes. This role oversees daily operations, drives continuous improvement, and ensures stateoftheart quality technologies and methods are consistently applied. With a strong focus on team leadership, operational excellence, and crossfunctional collaboration, the Quality Team Leader ensures that customer complaints are resolved effectively, errormanagement processes are robust, and quality standards are continuously advanced. This position plays a key role in strengthening digitalization, optimizing workflows, and ensuring adherence to quality and EHS guidelines across the operation.

What you’ll do:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Quality team in the United States, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, organizational structure, and Quality awareness throughout the whole Operations Team

  • Define and build measurement infrastructure at Waukesha incl. a clean room and state-of-the-art equipment to execute the growth strategy.

  • Be connected to the sister plant in Jenbach, try to learn from the Quality people, systems, and processes there and implement at Waukesha.

  • Monitor daily results, review and optimize measurement and testing processes, and ensure effective use of resources and efficient task distribution.

  • Take ownership of customer complaints and oversee the complete nonconformitymanagement process to ensure fast, sustainable resolution.

  • Support the introduction, qualification, and optimization of new procedures, processes, and special measurement tasks.

  • Define, develop, and implement improvement and rationalization initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Train, guide, and coach team members on quality principles, EHS standards, and operational guidelines

  • Develop, manage, and track process KPIs, continuously elevating performance and operational quality standards.

  • Ensure testing technologies remain current, drive innovation, and expand digitalization in quality assurance and data collection.

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, and accredited testing institutions to ensure aligned standards and efficient workflows.

What you’ll have:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field.

  • 8+ years’ experience in measurement and testing technology, mechanical engineering, service, or mechanical manufacturing

  • Proven leadership background with a strong track record in building or scaling teams

  • High commitment to quality, strong personal initiative, and a confident, reliable presence

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and openness to learn Quality tools like Q-DAS or Oracle NC-Management

Additional Details:

 

  • Location: Waukesha, WI

  • Work Schedule: Onsite 5 days per week (Monday through Friday)

  • Travel: Approximately 10% travel required, including an initial extended trip to Jenbach, Austria for training on Quality systems and processes and to build working relationships with the Jenbach Quality team.

  •  Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the foreseeable future.
