Role Summary:
As a part-time Human Resources Administrator, they will work 30 hours per week from Monday through Friday, 8am to 2:30pm, in an office-based role. The responsibilities will include overseeing the recruitment process for hourly positions in Canada, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding, issuing employment letters, validating employee training records, managing the New Uniform Program, and maintaining the company's document and applicant tracking systems. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Roles & responsibilities
Recruitment:
  • Manage Canada-based recruitment for hourly positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Coordinate recruitment for all Canada-based positions. This includes liaising between candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers, and ensuring all recruitment activities adhere to company and legal standards.
HR Tasks:
  • Administer the onboarding process for new hires in Canada, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
  • Prepare and issue employment letters, such as offer letters, and confrimation of employment letters. 
  • Validate training files, ensuring all employees have completed necessary training and that records are up-to-date.
  • Support the administration of the New Uniform Program, including ordering, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Maintain and update the company's document management system and ATS system 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years HR experience in manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years' experience in production level recruiting and recruiting coordination
  • At least 2 years' experience with HRIS/ATS systems
  • Payroll processing experience, is considered an asset
