Description

This position is for an experienced expert responsible for the development of different mechanical engine systems for Innio gas engines. In this role you will have the opportunity to execute in depth technical development work, collaborate with different departments and suppliers as well as partner with external companies.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate and support development projects on system level
  • Lead development projects on component level
  • Apply deep domain expertise in all development activities
  • Lead Root Cause and Quality projects by applying systematic methods such as FMEA, Fishbone, Failure Tree, etc.
  • Lead Cost Out Projects in close alignment with Sourcing and Suppliers
  • Apply Innio Development standards in collaboration with Design, Analysis, Validation and Reliability Engineering functions
  • Drive data driven decision making and documentation within your domain

 Your Profile: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
  • Essential experience in the development mechanical systems, preferrable large bore engine systems
  • Initial experience in the development of reciprocating engines
  • Extensive experience in components inspections and investigations.
  • Convincing oral and written communication skills of detailed technical themes across a wide range of audiences in English. German proficiency is an additional significant advantage.
