The Warehouse Operator will be a key team member responsible for ensuring smooth spare parts and tooling operation in our Houston, TX warehouse facility. They will ensure the timely, safe and accurate delivery of spare parts and tools to internal and external customers of high-quality reciprocating gas engines. They will do this in compliance with our Environmental Health & Safety standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Loading / unloading trucks, manage complaints in case of damage
  • Perform material receipt, put away for replenishment orders and returns from Customer sites
  • In charge to create and following up of Internal claims (in SFDC) as Under or Over receipt and quality material issues
  • Perform pick and pack for outbound deliveries, prepare goods for shipping, including packaging items
  • Ensure that all inbound / outbound transactions are recorded in Oracle system
  • Responsible for keeping records of all products shipped and received by the company and ensuring that corresponding documentation is filed and maintained accurately
  • Manage tooling: ensure that tools keep on stock are ready to use, complete and in good condition
  • Ensure smooth Swap-Trailer process, maintain on site trailer’s inventory including spare parts and tools as well
  • Ensure accurate record keeping of inventory, through cycle counts, yearly wall-to-wall inventory counts and other managed inventory processes
  • Close coordination, alignment and collaboration with the local warehouse and logistics team as well with the Repair shop and local field service organization

  • Safe operation of equipment, lifting devices including but not limited to forklift, crane, etc.
  • Follow maintenance schedules and perform equipment inspections to ensure proper and safe operation.
  • Ensure that all operation in the warehouse is compliance with our Environmental Health & Safety standards and policies
  • Provide coaching and expertise to other team members by sharing expertise and working as a team to meet common business objectives.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and cost savings.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma and a combination of minimum 3-year relevant experience.
  • Forklift driving license
  • Basic technical aptitude including but not limited to computers, excel, Oracle ERP system
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours/shifts in different locations in Houston, TX such as our Repair Shop facility
  • Ability to meet physical and cognitive demands assessment.
  • Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs.
