Role Summary :
The Tooling Center Operations Specialist will be responsible to maintain, coordinate, update records, visual inspection, and coordinate shipping of all Jenbacher special tooling and standard tools in warehouse to sites. 
He/She will continuously update the company databases as appropriate ensuring accurate materials, requirements, certifications, conditions and quantities are achieved and in general, manage all tooling status. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
•    Track tooling and calibration work orders that are open and need to be processed.
•    Highlight budget needs, manage and coordinate budget planning for the region.
•    Having close contact to the Field Service Team to identify gaps, improvement areas and tooling developments
•    Proactively investigate market to establish the best setup before needing it, evaluate tooling gaps and ensure to close them
•    Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each kit has the proper quantity and tools needed.
•    Update records of tools that have been calibrated or need calibration.
•    Track shipments that have been sent to customers/ Field Service techs to use in repairing customer parts as well as tools that are being retuned for calibration.
•    Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure that each kit has the proper quantity and tools needed.
•    When new tools are purchased, ensure they are added into database.
•    Assist in training and mentoring new Tooling Coordinators as applicable
•    Coordinate and package all supplies needed to perform service tasks during outages.
•    Monitor each kit before shipping to make sure there is a kit template and a calibration certificate enclosed.
•    As stock are depleted issue purchase orders to vendors to order parts and maintain inventory of tools and supplies.
•    Maintain warranty records for parts. Request manufacture/vendor to replace parts that wear out within the warranty period.
•    Coordinate the shipping of parts working with the Service Managers to ensure on time delivery of kits when needed as well as coordinating the ship of kits that need to be repaired coming from the sites.
•    Do visual inspection of specialized kits that come from the sites to determine that everything is there and replace parts as necessary.
•    Follow and update the Field Service Tooling procedures to make sure compliance is always met.
•    Submit billing reports.
•    Maintain housekeeping of Warehouse to meet EHS standards.
•    Meet or exceed customer requested delivery date for kit as noted on work order provided by Services Manager or Supervisors.
•    Must verify all visitors/drivers have proper PPE when on shop floor.
•    Labeling and loading of all Express shipments
•    Verify all shipping Bill of Ladings have all correct information needed for shipping and billing. 
•    Must maintain all shipping schedules for all 3 businesses, ship dates, kit #’s, mode, etc. 
 
 
Qualifications/Requirements
 
•    5+ years of experience in a tooling-related role
•    Or High School Diploma and 5 years of logistics planning and execution experience
•    Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals
•    Maintenance records for kits that have been processed.
•    Create and manage purchase orders for replacement parts for kits.
•    Stocking of tools and kit parts to ensure availability of parts per each sites specific requirement as outlined in specification sheets.
•    Forklift experience (skills test administered if applicable) 
•    Ensuring that kits are delivered on time with no quality (missing parts or non-working parts) issues once delivered.
•    Perform other duties as assigned
•    Willingness to travel when required
•    Business English in addition to native Spanish to connect with the regional teams
