Join our Sourcing Team as a Procurement Specialist - New Product Introduction (Afternoon shift - 2 Years Fixed Term), supporting our Waukesha business. This role will be focused around proactive involvement in sourcing initiatives aiming at constantly improving processes, achieving financial goals and providing excellent service to internal and external customers. One of the primary responsibilities of this role is to Project Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) strategies and coordinate with multiple functions across Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, and Product Management to ensure that material is sourced and secured to meet project deadlines.  In addition, this role will work as a Project Manager to coordinate Vendor recovery and corrective actions from our Suppliers with support from the appropriate Supply Chain and Quality team members. 
 
This role is based in Budapest, operates on an afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:00 to align with U.S. business hours, specifically to support INNIO's Waukesha sourcing operations. The position is ideally suited for candidates seeking an afternoon shift.

Your Responsibilities: 
  • Work closely with strategic buyers, the material planning & execution specialists, quality, and AP operations to ensure smooth running of day-to-day activities.
  • Project Manage NPI coordination and Warranty Recovery actions and process improvements
  • Take direction from NPI Sourcing Leader to prioritize and lead RFQ actions required for upcoming product launch sourcing
  • Participate in NPI program cross functional meetings, design reviews and tollgate reviews as appropriate
  • Coordinate management of item activation process for NPI material
  • Manage RFP & RFQ processes for new production items and services orders
  • Coordinate and support as needed any required qualification POs (PPAP orders) placement to support NPI
  • Manage and track new part qualification and delivery status of NPI driven components
  • Accounts Payable issue & invoice hold resolution for NPI orders
  • Provide drawings and 3D models on request to suppliers
  • Maintain sourcing attributes in ERP system (quote, lead time, market share, etc.)
  • Coordination of Warranty Recovery prioritization, coordination, and reporting between business resources
  • Independently resolves issues within assigned responsibilities by applying given guidelines, policies, and regulatory framework
  • Support NPI and Warranty Recovery related process improvements
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers
Your Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering from an accredited university/college or a high school diploma and equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Project Management experience, including Six Sigma Black Belt or PMP certification
  • Fluent communication in English language (C1 verbal and written), German or other languages are a plus
  • Requires foundation knowledge of guidelines, practices, and procedures within sourcing function, work experience in Procurement of advantage
  • Working knowledge of ERP and data management & reporting tools (Oracle, SAP, Tableau, etc.)
  • Willingness/Ability to Work in afternoon shift  from 14:00 to 22:00 Budapest time, aligning with U.S. business hours, to support INNIO's Waukesha operations from Budapest.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, able to work with large data sets
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, assess and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization and be a results-oriented self-starter
