Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and interact
    • Establish effective project governance on the ongoing and planned projects
    • Drive project progress with both PMO and hands-on operational support
    • Serve as liaison between various support functions and operational leaders, help to articulate requirements and strategies and ensure their execution on a timely manner
    • Constant dialogue with all stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of process improvements and new system functionalities
    • Close cooperation with the central IT department, the other finance teams, the accounting employees in the subsidiaries and the shared service center in Budapest
  • Improve process and systems
    • Cooperation in strategic projects for the further development of ORACLE ERP and in the introduction or expansion of automation solutions in accounting
    • Support projects targeting CoE Finance process performance improvements with strong cooperation with the functional teams
    • Use process improvement methodologies and tools in a pragmatic way to identify root causes and select the best solutions
    • Support in the coordination and interfacing with non-Oracle systems
    • Support future Oracle ERP / new applications roll-outs

 

Your qualifications:

  • Completed studies in business/management with a focus on finance
  • 4+ years working experience (2+ years preferably in SSC environment) within Finance Operations in project management roles, leading medium size of finance projects, participated in cross-functional projects
  • Basic understanding of global process (accounting) and transactional processes (intercompany, fixed assets, travel&expenses, accounts payables, accounts receivables)
  • Confident demeanor when working with executives to achieve business goals
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge
  • Good experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Project management (PMI, Prince2, etc.)  certification is an advantage
