Your Responsibilities:

  • Work in a global engineering team to develop and improve the components, systems and fluids specified for use on the INNIO Jenbacher products
  • Focusing on one of the major engine systems (Cylinder Head & Valvetrain, Cranktrain, Piston group, Structures & Air Handling, Hydraulics and Engine Fluids) you will work closely with one of our highly experienced System Owners in support of several development projects and initiatives
  • Work on prototyping, testing and reporting of newly developed parts that you were involved with developing
  • Work on engineering initiatives to help with the way we develop, test, inspect and report components in development
  • Work on data analysis from test cell engines and data collect by our myPlant APM system to better understand some of our key engineering challenges
  • Work with other functions of engineering and the wider business as you work through your projects to get a better understanding of the industrial engines business

Your Profile:

  • In procession of, or working towards, a Bachelor/Master of Science/Engineering in Mechanical engineering, Process engineering or similar
  • Enthusiasm and good basic knowledge about internal combustion engines
  • Comfortable working within small international teams with a can-do, hands-on attitude to work
  • Solid communication skills in English. German skills also advantageous
  • Immediate start for an internship with the duration of a minimum of 6 months 
  • Legal work authorization to work in Austria is required (Non-EU-citizens: please attach the authorization form to your application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.131,51 gross per month (x 14).
