The Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) – Data Center will be responsible for driving the growth of our gas engine portfolio in the data center industry with a special focus on Europe, Asia-Pacific and Middle East. This position will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing the sales process for our gas engine products. The role requires a deep understanding of the data center market, global energy/power generation market and a proven ability to build relationships with key industry stakeholders

Your Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for gas engines in the data center industry
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market presence and meet sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the data center industry
  • Conduct data center market research to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities for product innovation
  • Provide regular reporting on market performance, sales pipeline, and key performance metrics to senior management
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and network with key players in the datacenter industry
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing tailored proposal to meet specific customer requirements
  • Provide input into product development and customization based on market feedback and customer needs

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus
  • Very strong experience in business development, sales, or product management, with a focus on power generation equipment preferably in the data center industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of gas engine systems, applications, and market dynamics
  • Proven track record of successfully driving global business development and achieving sales targets
  • Experience in international sales and working with multi-regional teams, preferable with a strong understanding of the datacenter industry and/or global energy market
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to travel globally as required (up to 35%)
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus
 
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
