As a Sourcing Operations Intern at INNIO, you will implement purchasing strategies, onboard new suppliers, maintain and clean up supplier master data, request quotations, review purchase requisitions, initiate purchase orders, and support invoice processing - especially regarding price deviations. You will also participate in procurement projects to create value and collaborate with the team on multiple tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the purchasing strategy according to INNIO’s sourcing guidelines
  • New supplier onboardings and maintenance of supplier master data as well as support in data clean-ups of various purchasing attributes
  • Request for quotations and review of purchase requisitions
  • Purchase order initiation
  • Support in the processing of open invoices, especially regarding price deviations
  • Participation in various procurement projects as basis for value creation

Your Profile:

  • Ongoing university studies in Economics /Business & Management or equivalent
  • Active written and verbal fluency in English and in Hungarian (German is a plus)
  • Minimum 30 hours/week availability (up to 40 hours/week)
  • Foundational knowledge of practices and procedures within sourcing function
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to organize, assess and prioritize tasks
  • Team Player mentality and ability to work in an international and dynamic team
  • Curious to learn and self-driven to identify improvement points
  • Strong sense of collaboration to help in multiple tasks
  • Independent, proactive, and flexible working approach
