In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Utilizing Simulation Models for Power Generation Equipment in Powerfactory, PSCAD, PSS/E.
  • Identifying and interpreting grid code requirements across various markets, translating them into actionable technical specifications for gas engine driven generators and their systems.
  • Supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive technical compliance documentation and facilitating technical reviews.
  • Assisting in grid code certification activities, testing campaigns, and necessary product developments.
  • Conducting compliance evaluations, creating technical positions, and managing technical compliance documentation.
  • Taking charge of identifying, analyzing, and resolving any arising issues promptly and efficiently to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Continuously evaluating the impact of new regulatory requirements on product performance and processes, proposing necessary modifications to maintain compliance and optimize performance.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Power System Engineering or a related discipline is required, Master's degree is preferred.
  • Familiar with grid code regulations, standards, and functionalities.
  • Knowledgeable in the design, control, and development of power-generating equipment.
  • Able to translate regulatory requirements into precise technical specifications.
  • Can evaluate complex information, discern its relevance, importance, and interdependencies, and draw accurate conclusions to form robust technical positions.
  • Effective in working within cross-functional teams in a large organization for focused problem-solving.
  • Excellent English communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
  • Willing to travel internationally, primarily to our headquarters in Jenbach, Austria, on carefully planned occasions.
