Your Responsibilities:
- Own and manage processes related to item lifecycle management, product engineering, configuration, and service item assignment.
- Oversee planning and forecasting for assigned spare parts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and availability.
- Maintain and update item master data, including creation, activation, phaseout, ongoing data maintenance, cleansing, and mass updates.
- Manage new product configuration for both new units and services.
- Understand and facilitate integrations between engineering, planning, and order-to-cash processes.
- Define and maintain manufacturing bills of material, including creation, cleansing, and mass updates.
- Gain expertise in engineering and planning tools (e.g., Windchill, Smarteam) and support tool selection for business teams.
- Collaborate with Inventory and FSL teams to support local warehouse planning, including min/max stock calculations and parts availability analysis.
- Assist the BI team in defining reporting logic for engineering and planning processes.
- Enhance material planning by monitoring performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Support and promote automation initiatives to accelerate planning and reduce manual workload.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Management or similar
- Demand Planning and Inventory management experience
- Ability to work in a structured manner
- Analytical skills: gathering, analyzing, interpreting and visualizing data
- Experience in programming languages (SQL and/or Python), Oracle, and Tableau
- Proficiency working with Business Administration systems and Microsoft Office
- Lean 6 Sigma or similar certification
- Implementation experience of company transforming projects (e.g. ERP, Sales tools implementation, etc.)
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work in virtual teams
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
