We are looking for a Technical Expert in Alternator/Generators to join our Spare-parts team at INNIO. In this position you are a recognized expert with a proven track record in domain technical and service area. The main goal is to increase customer satisfaction by taking strategic and operational decisions about maintenance and repair approaches, as well as to increase productivity and speed in our generator service business, both technically and commercially. This role will strongly collaborate with our Sourcing department and ensures that our premium service requirements are met in our supplier contracts.

The working location of this position is Jenbach, Austria. INNIO Jenbacher offers support towards moving cost to Austria. The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead INNIO service strategy for generator maintenance and repair
  • Be the service representative for supplier contracts (both new equipment & services) – focus on generators
  • Strongly collaborate with our Sourcing department and be responsible that INNIO’s service business requirements will be negotiated and implemented in our Original Equipment Manufacturer (=OEM) and service contracts for generators
  • Accountable to continuously optimize the life cycle costs of INNIO’s generator service business
  • Responsible to ensure service readiness for key projects and highlight product improvement needs within the INNIO fleet
  • Drive technical innovations to optimize the preventive and corrective maintenance strategy on our generators
  • Take strategic decisions to reduce customer downtimes in general

 

Your Profile:

  • Very good working experience in after-sales generator business within an international company operating in a relevant industry, paired with a strong commercial and technical background for generators
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering Sciences or equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
  • An excellent technical aptitude as well as influencing, negotiation and facilitating skills
  • Experienced in project management with strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Strong customer service mindset, team player mentality with a continuous improvement mindset – Ability to understand needs and drive service strategy
  • Fluent in English, other language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
