Lead Procurement Specialist - Risk, Compliance & Sustainability (m/f/d)

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that INNIO’s Procurement activities comply with all applicable norms and regulations, whether internal to INNIO or issued by external regulatory bodies. This role will partner with all affected functions within INNIO to drive compliance standards across the whole organization and at suppliers, in matters of Technical Regulations & Standards, Quality Management System, Environment, Energy and Sustainability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You drive all compliance & IMS (Integrated Management System) activities within INNIO Procurement and at INNIO’s suppliers, ensures full compliance of each supplier with applicable requirements
  • Communication of new or modified TRS requirements to Sourcing personnel and to suppliers inlc. TRS trainings & collaboration with cross-functional compliance experts
  • Ensuring that Declarations of Conformity & TRS Documentation are provided by suppliers in a timely fashion
  • Ensuring that QMS (Quality Management System) procedures in the sourcing department are maintained up to date
  • Integration of environmental, energy and health & safety ISO standard requirements into Sourcing procedures incl. ensuing compliance with supplier on-boarding
  • Your train new Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE’s) on relevant QMS procedures and teach SQE’s to run supplier audits
  • Identification or opportunities for improvement in Sourcing processes, collaborates with management to implement them
  • Supports internal and external audits
  • Develops and issues supplier scorecards for critical item suppliers or others depending upon business needs
  • Drives Supplier Improvement Plans (SIP) with suppliers to increase their Quality, Logistics or Commercial performance & owning the overall SIP process & reports regularly to management the progress of all supplier SIP’s
  • Own Supplier Documentation process

Your Profile:

  • Technical and/or business degree (BS/BA) or equivalent knowledge/skills acquired through relevant trainings & certifications and appropriate experience
  • Several years of work experience in Sourcing, IT, Quality or related fields
  • Experience in the implementation of Technical Regulation & Standards applicable in the energy or automotive industry
  • Experience in continuous improvement and proven track record in process improvement assignments
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills using Lean, Six Sigma or 8D methodology
  • Experience utilizing Agile or other project management methodologies
  • Experience with integrated management systems (IMS) and the United Nations SDG’s
  • Fluent in English, (verbal and written), German language skills are a plus

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.439,42 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
