Engine Technical Support Engineer, You’ll use your deep mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge to help field technicians and customers solve problems — sometimes remotely, sometimes right on-site.

Your responsibilities are:
- Be the go-to expert when engines need attention — from quick phone guidance to full on-site troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and solve complex engine and control system issues using remote monitoring tools (like MyPlant) and your own mechanical intuition.
- Support field technicians and customers through phone, data, and hands-on assistance — ensuring clear communication and fast solutions.
- Plan and coordinate service actions, especially when urgent intervention is needed.
- Work closely with service centers, project teams, and application engineers to ensure lessons learned from the field make our products and services better.
- Investigate recurring issues, analyze control software errors, and help implement fixes.
- Spend time in the field several times a year to stay connected to the real-world challenges technicians face.
- Participate in shift and on-call rotation, ensuring customers can count on us around the clock.
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance procedures — the same way you always have on-site
Requirements:
- Several years of experience working on large combustion engines, turbines, or marine engines — ideally including commissioning, troubleshooting, or control systems.
- Hands-on technical background (mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, HTL, or similar).
- Experience with Jenbacher gas engines or similar power generation equipment is a strong plus.
- Analytical and practical mindset — you can read the data, but you also know what it feels like when something’s off.
- Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to both engineers and customers.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating across departments.
- Fluent in Polish and German or English.
- Comfortable with IT tools (ERP systems, databases, MS Office).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within your region.
- Flexible and calm under pressure — especially when engines aren’t.
