This role is responsible for planning and forecasting demand for spare parts, managing monthly forecasts and safety stock levels to ensure optimal inventory and deliver exceptional parts availability.
Your tasks:
- Work on planning and forecasting cycle for assigned spare parts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and high product availability.
- Analyze and continuously refine demand forecasts by integrating cross-functional inputs; determine appropriate safety stock levels for the Distribution Center.
- Ensure accurate system setup and maintenance for all assigned part numbers.
- Proactively monitor and address problematic parts, detect non-available items and implement effective corrective actions.
- Manage and incorporate specific functional inputs into the demand planning process to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Support and participate in projects related to demand planning and parts availability improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Inventory and local warehouses teams to support and enhance local forecasting efforts.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
- Experience in demand planning and inventory management preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to work.
- Proficiency in Oracle, Tableau.
- Programming languages (R and/or Python) are an advantage.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
