The Customer Project Manager  - Jenbacher Engines is responsible for commercial and technical execution of complex New Units projects for direct customers in the USA
 
Your Responsibilities:
 
· Independent commercial and technical order execution of new unit equipment orders from distributors, key accounts, and direct customers in the United States
· Cross-functional coordination of technical and commercial project execution
· Executing of orders in time and within the calculated costs.
· Responsible for payment collection and claim management for all assigned orders under execution in close cooperation with Finance.
· Support know-how transfer and training programs for Distributors and Key Accounts to align project execution process the INNIO Jenbacher´s Project Management processes
· Support revenue operating rhythm in close cooperation with Finance with weekly updates on orders identified as commercial rev rec risks.
· Support continuous development of the Project Management Process and Tools based on KPI’s such as revenue, contribution margin, customer satisfaction, complete and on-time delivery, finished goods inventory, and collections.
· Focus on customer alignment and simplification initiatives to ensure qualitative and effective order execution.
 
Qualification Requirements :
 
· Engineering (mechanical or electrical) and/or commercial bachelor degree
· Three to five years of experience in the relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry
· Three to five years of project management experience
· Ability to act in an interdisciplinary environment connected with relevant diversity of experience
· Excellent English skills (written and oral)
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Team player and strong reliability
· Demonstrated external focus & inclusiveness
· Willingness to travel within US and to Europe (Headquarter Jenbach)
· Living in Houston or willingness to relocate
· Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

 

 

 

Role Description:

  • Technical and Commercial Project Order Execution of New Unit and Service (overhauls, repair, and upgrades) equipment orders from distributors, key accounts, direct customers.
  • Focused primarily on Equipment scope of supply according INNIO Jenbacher Product Program.
  • Cross-functional coordination of technical and commercial project execution
  • Responsible for Revenue, Payment collection, NU Inventory and claim management for all assigned orders under execution in close cooperation with Finance.
  • Creating additional order intake and revenue by selling during the project execution additional options.
  • Support know-how transfer and training programs for Distributors and Key Accounts to align project execution process the INNIO Jenbacher´s Project Management processes.
  • Support continuous development of the Project Management Process and Tools based on KPI’s such as revenue, contribution margin, customer satisfaction, complete and on-time delivery, finished goods inventory, and collections.
  • Focus on customer alignment and simplification initiatives to ensure qualitative and effective order execution.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Engineering (mechanical or electrical) and/or commercial Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in the relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry and in the discipline of Customer Projectmanagement,
  • Excellent English skills (written and oral), preferably also a 2nd language
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player and strong reliability
  • Demonstrated external focus & inclusiveness
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
