As a Quality Assurance Specialist – Engine Assembly, you’ll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring every engine meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
- Champion Quality Standards: Ensure every engine meets strict quality requirements throughout assembly.
- Hands-On Inspections: Perform in-process and final checks to guarantee precision and compliance.
- Problem Solver: Investigate defects and non-conformities using root cause analysis; drive corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate for Excellence: Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
- Lead Continuous Improvement: Participate in audits and implement best practices using tools like FMEA, 8D, SPC, and control plans.
- Support Innovation: Validate quality requirements for new product launches and process changes.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Monitor and report key quality metrics such as defect rates, rework, and process capability.
- Compliance Guardian: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications (What you’ll have):
- Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing quality, preferably engine assembly.
- Knowledge of engine testing and industrial painting processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality systems.
- Skilled in quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, root cause analysis).
- Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
