Your tasks:

• Creating data sets based on various requirements regarding local tax requirements
• Support with data validation, by checking the outcome of the reports and compare together with business owners
• Data and Systems Effectiveness: Embed the needs of Tax into Finance and IT systems to increase automation and data quality throughout tax processes; automate tax processing, tax compliance and reporting through various tax technologies
• Implement automation to working files used by Group Tax team.
• Process and Controls Enhancement: Re-design and deploy streamlined tax processes including new technology solutions with clear roles and responsibilities, standardized work processes, proper controls embedded to manage risks
• Serve as a liaison between the Tax, Accounting, Financial Consolidations, and Information Technology departments improving the understanding of the tax department’s information technology needs
• Participate in analyzing business requirements
• Preparation and distribution of reports/lists as required (e.g., Tableau reports with analyses for the different departments)
• Work closely with the Operations users to help define priorities, clarify business requirements and ensure proper testing
• Maintain tax compliance tracker database.
• Interact with multiple IT groups and business groups on a daily basis
• Work closely with the architecture to integrate core technology components

Your profile:

• Ongoing study in University, Data Science / Data Analytics orientation is advance
• Fluency in English and the ability to work with cross-functional teams; German is a plus
• Capability to solve problems
• Analytic skills (in Excel or any other big data analysis tool), ability to visualize results by using BI tools (e.g., Tableau) and program by using tools like R Studio or Python
• Ability to deliver results on-time and on target
