The Senior Manager of Indirect Procurement (m/f/d) is responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities related to indirect goods and services. This role requires strategic leadership, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cost-effective procurement strategies across the organization.

Your Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for indirect goods and services, ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of 9 procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and provide effective solutions
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers for your own commodities to achieve optimal terms and conditions
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Constantly monitor existing procurement processes and develop and implement continuous process optimization measures 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Drive initiatives to enhance sustainability and innovation within the procurement function
 
 
Your Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; an HTL qualification is also accepted
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in procurement, particularly in indirect procurement
  • Proven track record in leading and inspiring diverse teams
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management capabilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across various departments and regions
  • Skilled in using procurement-related software and digital tools
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Fluency in German and English
