Position Overview:
The Warehouse Logistics Specialist plays a key role in optimizing logistics operations by reducing costs, improving delivery times, ensuring efficient warehouse performance, and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- This role supports Management in creating, receiving and approving Purchase Orders (PO) for all monthly PO’s and for PO’s to support Operational readiness.
- Responsible for the end to end proper and efficient administration of RMA’s in the US to ship to Jenbacher.
- This role fosters collaboration between various departments such as procurement, transportation, and customer service to streamline processes and achieve common objectives.
- This role involves creating detailed reports, scheduling tasks, coordinating resources, and overseeing the execution with our warehouses to ensure timely and efficient completion of daily operation
- Ensure our KPI’s (EHS, Inbound, Quality, Cost, OTD, Productivity, Inventory accuracy) are met with target
- Manage controllership processes in the US warehouses and site inventories (like daily cycle count and yearly physical counts)
- Manage Customer complaints in SFDC (SalesForce)
- Contribute in logistic projects
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or supply chain or logistics
- Experience working in a procurement environment
- Experience working in Oracle a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team
- Structured working methods
- Ability to deliver results on target
- Customer oriented thinking, understanding of how own team integrates to Service Supply Chain
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office (strong concentration in Excel)
- Strong Analytical skills
- Willingness to travel (25% or less)
- Must be based in Houston, Texas area
