This internship is part of the engineering development in the Design and Development Department with the option to focus on different engineering aspects such as CAD design, mechanical engineering, cost engineering, vibration engineering as well as validation and testing. The department focuses on the entire generator set with the focus on the core engine and it’s systems and components. 

This internship lasts for a maximum of 6 months. An internship is a perfect start for a long-term career at INNIO and offers extension options as well as potential permanent employment opportunities. We look forward to receiving your application!

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Support engineering projects from concept design to serialization and fleet optimization
  • Support and explore (one or multiple) specific activities such as Catia V5 design, testing and inspection, technical calculations and many more
  • Participate and contribute to a problem solving attitude team mentality
  • Depending on your experience and expectations we will tailor your responsibilities in scope and area to best fit your strengths and interests

Your Profile: 

  • Study in a technical and/or economical field preferred
  • Good technical understanding as well as skills in analytical thinking
  • Curious to explore technical aspects and tools
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical problems and concepts
  • Independent, proactive and flexible working approach
  • Business fluent in German and/or English language
  • Beneficial: experience in reciprocating engines
  • A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.548,82 gross per month (x 14).
