As Senior Manager – Warranty & Tech Programs (m/f/d), you will drive product quality, innovative solutions and customer satisfaction at INNIO. You will lead warranty and technical programs across global markets, transforming warranty claims into opportunities for improvement. By championing proactive fleet upgrades and strategic field validations, you will set new standards in reliability, cost control, and speed — ensuring swift resolution of customer issues and supporting vendor recovery through cross-functional collaboration. This position is accountable for the complete resolution cycle, from case creation till engines are handed back to Service, including commercial agreements and all metrics.

Your Responsibilities:
- Overall accountability for global Warranty, Fleet Programs and Field Validation within the after-sales business
- Ensure fast and effective resolution of warranty claims to maximize customer satisfaction
- Analyze warranty and quality data to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and optimize processes
- Support cost control initiatives while maintaining high product quality
- Develop and execute proactive Fleet Programs/upgrades to improve engine performance and robustness
- Monitor program performance, focusing on reliability, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the sourcing department to support vendor recovery efforts
- Manage Field Validation programs, including strategic customer selection and agreement - oversee rapid program launch, installation, and coordination of all required inspections for new products until serial release
- Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, agility, and speed across direct and indirect markets
- Accountable to report quality issues from the field to the business (key stakeholder in the Issue Solving Process) and work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sourcing for sustainable solutions
Your Profile:
- Master’s Degree in an engineering or business discipline, alternative degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with substantial work experience in our industry
- Very strong experience within service operations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously
- High personal integrity and credibility with senior management
- Solid commercial knowledge to maximize the Technical Service Operations profitability
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Customer intimacy – works well with customers – able to understand needs and drive Services strategy
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong continuous improvement and change management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to drive change in a challenging business environment
- Technical understanding of Jenbacher products and reciprocating engine operation
- Lead complex technical service operation projects in an international setting
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge in the field of Technical Service Operations
- Fluency in German and English (negotiation level)
