The Regional Account Director will be responsible for the management and overall revenue growth and profitability for key clients in APAC region. The role will be accountable for developing clients’ relationships, ensuring the client and internal teams are aligned on global strategies, offering strategic oversight consistently.

responsibilities

  • Set the strategic vision in alignment with the client’s strategy
  • Initiate innovation and drive integration across multi-disciplinary teams, regionally and globally
  • Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers
  • Provide on-going strategic insights and revised solutions recommendations based on the changing market dynamics and industry trends
  • Implement an overall account structure and team that will excel in client services
  • Work collaboratively with production teams and strategic sourcing to optimize the production process
  • Ensure that all client jobs and projects are executed flawlessly
  • Lead, train, develop, mentor, and motivate teams, providing performance and people management as well as maintaining staffing requirements
  • Ensure all client and internal contractual and procedural requirements are met
  • Prepare and execute client development plans
  • Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews to present to the client and InnerWorkings’ management
  • Drive performance accountability and assume responsibility for overall management of the client internal P&L
  • Ensure profitability meets expectations and that the client team is providing superior customer service
  • Support new business wins and implement new account and service line developments in conjunction with internal resources

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of managing client service/production teams within a marketing execution, manufacturing, client, or agency environment
  • 7+ years of direct client interfacing experience with the ability to interface with all levels of professionals
  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven management experience, including employee development and mentoring
  • Highly proficient with MS Office software, especially Excel
  • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in managing wine & Spirits industry clients will be a plus
  • Fluency in English and Chinese required
  • POSM/Print experience required
  • Highly strategic thinker, and excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Self-starter team player with a high level of commercial acumen
  • Retail experience advantageous
  • Entrepreneurial minded with an internal drive to continuously hit goals and succeed
  • Experience excelling within fast paced, high energy environments
