Overview

INL is seeking an experienced and qualified Field Service Technician to join our Maintenance team.

You will be working with a local and experienced team, on a variety of equipment, including Electricity, HVAC, hydraulic pumps, ultrapure water system, water processing, vacuum and compressed air.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate excellent experienced in building facilities and equipment’s with hand on, and perform on site general repairs/installations, maintenance of systems and equipment, focused on keeping the facilities in a properly functioning condition in a safe and timely manner.

 

Job Duties

The job duties will be the following:

  • Operate in accordance with health and safety regulations, departmental procedures and INL policies;
  • Carry out day to day maintenance duties across the INL site;
  • Provide immediate support in the event of breakdowns;
  • Fault diagnosis and repair of equipment;
  • Assist equipment installation and setup;
  • Provide assessments and advice on existing systems as part of a collaborative approach;
  • Assist maintenance teams to improve and develop current process and procedures through a continuous improvement approach.

 

 

Mandatory Qualifications

 

Education

  • Technical Education/Degree in electrical/electronic.

 

Experience

  • 3 years in a Field Service Technician, namely in the execution of low voltage electrical installations in buildings;

 

Technical Skills

  • Good electrical skills gained within a facility environment.
  • Ability to read drawing, manuals and electric circuit diagrams as necessary;
  • Ability to understand schematics and read blueprints;
  • Ability and willingness to perform general maintenance tasks;
  • Solid computer skills as a user;
  • Knowledge in GTC systems.

 

Other Skills

  • Fluent in English.
  • Valid driver's license.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aptitude and experience in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and plumbing tasks is a plus.
