Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated BSR Assistant to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting project managers of several EU-funded projects in facilitating interactions with external stakeholders, ensuring the smooth implementation of European funded projects.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in organising and managing events such as co-creation workshops, planning and coordinating meetings, and arranging secondments. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of managing diverse tasks and supporting the strategic goals of the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory.

 

Job Duties

The job duties will be the following:

  • Support in organising and implementing workshops, secondments and hackathons, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among participants;
  • Plan meetings with external stakeholders, ensuring all logistical and communication aspects are handled efficiently;
  • Compile and report on the outcomes of stakeholder engagement activities, including preparing detailed reports and summaries;
  • Assist in managing interactions with stakeholders, ensuring timely communication, and fostering positive relationships;
  • Collaborate with relevant internal units and research groups to ensure alignment and support for project activities;
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, communications, and outcomes to support project reporting;
  • Provide general administrative support to the Business and Strategic Relations team as needed.

 

Mandatory Qualifications

 

Education

  • University degree in Public Administration, or Management. University degree in Science or Engineering with strong project management capabilities is also acceptable.

 

Experience

  • Experience in project management and administration, preferably in a research or academic environment;
  • Experience in organising events, workshops, or meetings, including logistical planning and stakeholder engagement.

 

Technical Skills

  • Good computer literacy and skills

 

Personal Skills

  • “Hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines;

A. Applications eligibility check

The question based interview will evaluate the match between the candidate’s profile and the requirements for the position, including the technical and personal skills. To better support this stage, the candidate may be requested to prepare a short presentation.

 

D. Nomination
