ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the general cleaning duties including break rooms, restrooms, offices, parking lot, grounds, warehouse and equipment.
  • Assist mechanics with all types of electrical and mechanical repairs. Includes cleaning of smoke detectors, operation of battery/lift area and sorter operations.
  • Issue parts, RF equipment and other maintenance cage functions. Including but not limited to sending equipment out for repair; also receiving it in and placing same in service.
  • Assist other associates with various responsibilities Make cardboard bails and pick up waste paper
  • Load/Unload cardboard trailers with bails and raw boxes. Perform other duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.

  • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • One year experience in industrial or commercial maintenance or janitorial environment preferred.
  • Familiar with basic mechanical and electrical parts and components preferred.
  • Ability to function at heights above ground level preferred.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
