Business Development Associate

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uncover, develop, and close new business opportunities for our IT asset disposal and recycling services within the assigned territory.
  • Listen to and evaluate customer needs and recommend/develop solutions utilizing a consultative approach

Maintain excellent rapport with current clients
Schedule presentations to build relationships with prospective clients and encourage use of services
Travel to businesses or other organizations as needed

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

 

  • 3+ years of experience selling IT recycling services or related professional services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Solid understanding of the IT lifecycle ITAD services and industry terminology
  • Proficiency negotiating and closing complex sales transactions
  • Ability to effectively interact and engage corporate decision makers and influencers at all levels within the organization
  • PC literate with Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting concepts and techniques
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Strong leadership, communication, and motivation skills
  • Attention to detail, well organized, accurate
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple projects
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
