Responsible for rolling out Business Intelligence and analytics best practices to all regions; examples are pricing and BI programs.
Synthesize a process by which all regions can follow and participate in best practice sharing. work as a liaison with other country/region implementation teams and executive leadership to leverage their support for large scale implementations such as BI visualization stack (e.g. Microstrategy), marketing automation (e.g. Eloqua), data-driven price optimization and segmentation and enterprise-class price management systems (e.g. Strategic Pricing).
Designs and develops key performance indicators (KPIs) of implementations, and reports on the KPIs at a regular cadence to the executive leadership.
This individual is responsible for building a high performance global analytics deployment team with a mix of on-shore and off-shore associates.
Responsible for running and further developing pricing maintenance and pricing consulting services for North America. Pricing Maintenance responsibilities include knowledge of system architecture and capabilities to leverage for solving business objectives; examples are flag setting, floor setting/approvals, vendor level pricing and customer segmentation (e.g. Choice Advantage) health check.
Pricing Maintenance is sourced to the Manila team.
Second level management of Manila team, includes creation of long term personnel growth strategies, training plans (career path), scorecard analysis of work quality and quantity. Pricing consulting involves identification of margin leakage and margin improvement opportunities, design pilots to develop business cases, working with cross functional teams drive change management and adoption to the solution and manage broader rollouts. Also this individual will be responsible for institutionalizing standard pricing analytics metrics and publication of those at a regular cadence.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent field is required (preferably in business planning & strategy, engineer, science and economics).
Experience: 6+ years of experience in B2B (strongly preferred) or B2C pricing, price optimization, pricing and customer segmentation, with at least 2 years of experience of having direct reports and team development. Consulting and high tech experiences are highly desirable.
Skill in: Written and oral communications (including presenting); time management; securing vendor contracts; measurable execution and value realization Ability to: Multi-task, respond to rapid change, manage projects, manage detail, coordinate resources, build relationships, set realistic and achievable timelines, understand marketing analytics and data science and be able to translate seamlessly to non-technical audience.
Travel at least once a month, with a few international travels.
