 Accounts payable – Opex, Month end Closing, MIS Reporting


  1. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (List the major responsibilities of the job)


  • Booking of Opex vouchers by selecting appropriate GL & CC as per agreed TAT
  • Checking the supporting documents such as original bill in line with GST Compliance like GSTN, Bill to, Ship From, GST Rate, POs and approvals for Non POs
  • Thorough knowledge of TDS and application of correct rates while booking the invoices.
  • Preparation of vendor payments and ensuring timely payment as per Due date
  • Month end Closure of Books of accounts with accruals
  • Preparation of monthly report on Actual cost Vs Budget and comparison with previous months
  • Resolving the queries from Vendors as per agreed TAT
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Schedules for review and highlighting open items to Management
  • Collating and compiling the data required for Statutory, Sox Audits, Tax Audits
  • Coordinating and resolving the queries raised by Auditors
