Responsibilities: The Process Designer, SC Process Management analyzes, defines and assists in the deployment of process improvements and new capabilities in operational processes, people, organizations, applications, and documents with the Global Template for Supply Chain Execution (SCE) in mind. The Process Designer, SC Process Management conducts business needs analysis including evaluating processes alignment to organization goals and strategy. The Process Designer will use his/her skills to define As-Is processes, determine which improvements will add value. Once determined, the Process Designer will support the organizations realignment of people, process and technology toward the desired outcome. The Process Designer will use his/her skills and knowledge to create improvements in critical performance measures, such as cost, quality, service, or cycle time using Lean, Six Sigma, TQM and ISO 9000 methods and tools. The Process Designer, SC Process Management will use his/her skills in process design, SCE application knowledge, development integration, testing and deployment, to focus on architecting a solution using Business Process Re-engineering techniques and methods to achieve a defined business outcome. The Process Designer, SC Process Management works on the complete life cycle from business needs definition, through process design, build or system configuration, testing, training, end user and technical documentation and delivery for process enactment and final diagnosis. The Process Designer, SC Process Management plays a significant role in re-engineering global Supply Chain processes and solutions which are global in nature, integrated with other process areas, scalable, flexible are customer focused and follows industry best practices. Process improvements may range from reduced keystrokes, reduced handoffs, centralized data, reduced delays, freeing resources faster, or combing similar activities. Requirements: Education: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related science and math discipline with an IS emphasis. Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in: Demonstrated skills in process design and re-engineering Demonstrated use of lean, six sigma, DMAIC, DMADV, ISO-9000, Kaizen, Poke yoke and other tools and methodologies towards process improvements and process design Complex international business environment Demonstrated high competency in the execution of multiple large projects Detailed understanding of Supply Chain process and Supply Chain applications Detailed understanding of SAP implementation methodology and its' practical application to country roll outs Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management Demonstrated competency in managing third party providers, especially with SAP certified solutions and bolt-ons. Managing resources to meet goals across multiple projects. Leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups. Demonstrated competency in developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and Complex business problems. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a proven track record for each. Manage the operational budget, report metrics for the group. Manage a cross functional team to oversee and review process design, change assessment and business and organizational impact. Liaison with project management office and appropriate Project Management offices to help manage the day-to-day interdependencies of multiple project teams. Create and lead a supportive team-oriented work climate that enables business team members to develop professionally and that values diversity, promotes teamwork and collaboration and emphasizes quality, customer satisfaction, creativity and cost effectiveness. SAP experience a plus & best of breed applications for warehouse management, transportation management, workforce management, global trade and material handling experience a plus. Experience using project management and other software tools & PMP certification also preferred.
