[ICO Promotion] Lead, Infrastructure Engineer
Responsibilities: Assigns, directs, and reviews the work of dotted line team members Lead a team of infrastructure engineers (work assignment, scheduling, task management, mentoring) Subject matter expert Responsible for setting task priorities for team and allocating resources based on the priorities. Guides and mentors Infrastructure Engineers Collaborates with management and other team leads to prioritize projects and workload, and ensure a consistent service offering. Interfaces with project managers and technical contacts outside the team. Responsible for and review change management requests and scheduling. Develops global standards, processes, and operating procedures for both level 2 and level 3 infrastructure engineers. Manages service desk incident and request queues. Provides detailed root cause analysis and problem management reporting. Presents problem reviews to senior management. Assigns work based on Engineers competency and availability. Defines technology standards, works on project teams, trouble-shoots complex issues. Provides advanced support and assistance to both level 3 and level 2 engineers. Collaborates with management on annual goals, objectives, performance reviews oversight, discipline, promoting and training of team. Requirements: Education: Degree in computer science or equivalent job-related experience Experience: Expertise with the following technologies: A minimum of 8 years supporting large and complex computer system infrastructures. Very strong experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong process-oriented problem solving skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks. Ability to function and be seen as a team leader.
