Section 2:  Position Summary

 

The AZURE Field Account Manager is responsible for driving AZURE sales growth across Ingram Micro Cloud Partners ecosystem. Working in close collaboration with AZURE Solution Architects, he/she will help resellers to adopt AZURE as the preferred route to market when helping their customers transition from an on-premise infrastructure lay-out to an IaaS approach.             

 

Section 3:  Responsibilities & Supporting Actions

 

  • As part of the AZURE Sales Team, develops, builds and maintains relationships with key partner decision makers and influencers: CEOs, CTOs, enterprise architects, vendors specialists and field sales
  • Drive attainment of quarterly and annual assigned AZURE revenue and margin targets
  • Cultivate and foster a world class partner team across the internal aligned businesses, including sales specialist sales, solution architects, product marketing, marketplace sales support and cloud services
  • Lead and coordinate a virtual team of specialists to accelerate and advance new & ongoing AZURE sales opportunities
  • Work with Microsoft to align Ingram Micro Cloud’s IaaS execution strategy with their channel go to market
  • Build trust and strategic relationships with key partners’ stakeholders by understanding the partners industry, business and top priorities
  • Presents and markets the end-to-end AZURE solutions as the next natural evolution of current end customers’ infrastructure strategies
  • As a core component of the AZURE Sales Team, actively participate in qualifying opportunities regarding partners technical requirements, competition, decision-making process and funding
  • Provides sales leadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities
  • Drive & support specific AZURE demand generation campaigns and events
  • Speak in public events to represent the Ingram Micro Cloud AZURE Value Proposition
  • Actively participate in regular pipeline & business reviews at the country and region levels

 

 

 

 

Section 4Skills & Experience

 

  • Degree in Engineering or IT degree in related field preferred. Other degrees considered depending on relevant experience and proven results
  • AZURE ecosystem understanding & proven experience (at least 3 years)
  • Demonstrated experience in Infrastructure & AZURE related selling scenarios
  • Excellent knowledge of competitive products and IT infrastructure industry (good understanding of infrastructure solutions – storage – servers – virtualization – communications & cloud technologies)
  • Extensive experience of selling technology solutions (at least 7 years)
  • Excellent oral and written communications
  • Ability to work at CEO & CTO levels to build strategies for AZURE Enterprise Architectures
  • Effective presentation, negotiation and executive relationship-building skills
  • Executive presence, influence and ability to collaborate & motivate across the organization
  • Leadership and Relationship Building Experience
  • Influence based leadership, comfortable leading through ambiguity
  • Creative and critical thinking
  • Good analytical and decision-making ability
