2nd Line Support Engineer

Due to the rapid development of services offered by Comms-care we are looking to add a 1st Line Support Engineer to our office-based Managed Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Comms-care, a well-established, Cheshire-based IT Service provider supporting businesses across the UK.

Role Overview

Up to £25,000 dependant on experience + On-call allowance and overtime

Based in Lostock Gralam, Northwich (CW9 7UA)

As a 2nd Line Support Engineer you will provide remote support and monitoring to both internal and external customers, you will also be given the opportunity to work on projects and develop your skills further. Ideally you have already achieved your CCNA qualification and be working towards a specialism or CCNP and be able to hit the ground running.

This 2nd Line opening at Comms-care offers you the opportunity to deal with a variety of calls providing 2nd Line triage & troubleshooting across varying technologies. You will also identify when a call needs escalating to ensure the situation/fault is resolved within SLA and guarantee customer satisfaction.

You will need to have a positive attitude with the willingness to take on new challenges and stretch your knowledge to allow you to develop your skill set. You be organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload as you will take accountability for your own call queue whilst also working together as a team to support our 1st Line Engineers and ensure calls are resolved in a timely manner.  Strong all-round communication skills are needed in this role as updates to the customer are important to maintain customer satisfaction levels.
