*Associate Financial Analyst - PHL
Responsibilities: Analysis and interpretation of data Support management with insightful analysis and interpretation of financial data through periodic and ad-hoc financial analyses, including, but not limited to: Forecasting of revenue, margin and operating expense components Capital expenditure review and analysis Budget preparation and business planning Trend analysis on income statement and balance sheet components Working capital forecasting, analysis and management Financial modeling of prospective business plans Tracking and analysis of strategic business initiatives Margin optimization, cost reduction and control opportunities, and business process reengineering Pricing review, analysis and trending Market share analysis and trending Industry trend analysis General economic trend analysis Requirements: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to make recommendations, gain agreement and implement solutions on behalf of a diverse organization. Summarize the minimum kinds of knowledge, skills and abilities required to do this job: A basic to generally proficient level of knowledge in: Spreadsheets - Excel - writing macros, developing formulas, using functions such as pivot and lookup tables Database - MS Access - multi-table queries, report generation, macros, forms Word Processing - MS Word Familiarity with Impulse - able to navigate between various screens, knowledge of where to locate data Ability to work with immediate peers and intermediate level internal associates. A basic to moderate level of financial analysis knowledge. Basic to moderate modeling and problem solving skills. Ability to work under moderate supervision and guidance, at a stable pace.
