We are looking for a Senior Director, Product Operations to join our Product team in Santa Clara, CA, reporting to the Chief Products Officer. In this role, you will lead a team to drive strategic initiatives, new product introductions, business operations, financial planning, customer programs, and future growth for the Infoblox product portfolio. What you’ll do:  

  • Own and drive the rhythm of the business for the Product team, including roadmap planning, QBRs, leadership offsites, all employee meetings, etc.  
  • Oversee the new product introduction end-to-end in collaboration with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, etc. 
  • Facilitate the team’s use of OKRs full cycle, from annual development/mid-year refinement to monthly tracking and leadership reviews 
  • Drive customer programs such as Customer and Technical Advisory Boards, Early Access Program, and UX Forums to build a customer-centric culture
  • Support short-term and long-range planning for the Product team 
  • Manage all the above programmatically and deliver best practices/innovation 
  • Work collaboratively across the Product team and other corporate functions on a wide range of issues, from strategic thinking to operational execution 
  • Present periodically to executive staff to provide strategic updates or to bring alignment 
  • Lead a team of program managers and product/business operations managers 
  • Execute special projects as needed 

 What you'll bring: 

  • 20+ years of relevant experience in management consulting and/or business operations driving initiatives, programs, and/or complex transformation efforts in enterprise technology, preferably in SaaS (networking and security) 
  • Demonstrated history of successfully executing high-impact initiatives that involve a diverse set of partners and cross-functional teams 
  • Experience with technology product development practices 
  • Experience with or ability to learn tools such as Smartsheet, Office365, Microsoft Planner, etc. 
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into relevant program/project structures 
  • Ability to travel up to 30% required 
  • Experience financial modeling, creating business cases, and conducting financial analysis, M&A and/or pricing-related analyses are a plus
  • Experience with M&A diligence and/or integration a plus  
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred 

 What success looks like:  

After six months, you will… 

  • Define OKRs for the ProductOps team for the fiscal year 
  • Streamline and improve the NPI process and update executive staff on it 
  • Streamline the customer programs, including EAP, CAB/TAB, and UX User Groups
  • Own and drive the rhythm of the business  
  • Assess the team, identify gaps, and come up with a plan to address them 
  • Be familiar with our product offerings, relevant market domains, product vision and strategy, functional teams, systems, and processes  
  • Have trusted relationships within the Product team and other cross-functional teams we collaborate with 

 After about a year, you will… 

  • Expand scope to represent the Product team/Product Ops function in broader cross-functional initiatives 
  • Potentially expand scope into sub functional areas, such as corporate development/M&A, planning, pricing, or other areas 
  • Craft career development plans for everyone in the ProductOps team
