Role Description:
You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications in system analysis, IT implementation, or related areas are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role within a consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
- Strong with Microsoft office suite
- Confident communicator that can work with technical and non-technical resources
- Requirements Gathering and Evaluation: Expertise in gathering, evaluating, and documenting functional requirements, and translating them into technical solutions.
- Project Scope and Objectives Definition: Skills in defining project scope and objectives, developing systems design procedures and processes, and overseeing the development of design solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any issues that arise during development or are identified in the production system
- Communication: Strong professional oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders, customers, and team members
- Liaising: Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions in ambiguous contexts.
- Teamwork: Experience working in teams and in a process-oriented, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in deliverables and analyses.
- System Analysis and Design: Proficiency in conducting feasibility studies, needs analysis, risk analysis, trade-off analysis, and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- IT Implementation and Operations Management: Understanding of IT best practices, including technology strategy, architecture, service management, IT security, systems integration, data analytics, and cloud services
- Data Analytics and Visualization: Ability to analyze and visualize data to support project deliverables and client engagements
- Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed business process design and fit-gap analysis sessions.
- Develop functional specifications for legacy data extracts (as needed), interfaces, and system modifications in conjunction with application functional analysts.
- Participate in business process workshops to identify reporting requirements
- Work cross track to solve complex problems
- Work directly with our client to identify issues and talk through defect, data fix, and enhancement options
- Coordinate and lead the development of test scenarios.
- Report important issues, status, and actions required, escalating issues when necessary..
