Role Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join the DTMB supporting MDOT. This role focuses on manual testing efforts to ensure high-quality IT solutions that meet business requirements and are free of defects.

  

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

  •  
    • Understand project scope and collaborate with Business Analysts to meet project objectives
    • Develop test cases and perform QA testing per the project schedule
    • Conduct UAT training sessions and support UAT testing
    • Identify and document software defects, and track them through resolution
    • Participate in requirement and design meetings
    • Prepare test data and validate QA environments
    • Facilitate defect triage meetings
    • Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and product owners
    • Provide analysis to support Go or No-Go decisions
    • Ensure completion of all SEM documentation relevant to QA
    Required Skills and Experience:
    • Three to five years of manual testing experience
    • Experience in both Waterfall and Agile environments
    • Certification in Quality Assurance testing or 24 semester hours of IT coursework
    • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience using Azure DevOps

 

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

  •  Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
