Role Description: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Programs Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring at least five (5) years of experience in two or more of the following fields: Fleet Management, Roadway Programs Management, Emergency Operations, and Budgeting.

 

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities): 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with maintenance programs management to address operational needs and develop solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the Maintenance Programs team and other departments to ensure smooth project coordination.
  • Assist with the development and review of operating and capital budgets and represent the department at executive capital plan meetings.
  • Support the creation, training, and implementation of new maintenance programs.
  • Plan and organize fleet unit operations, including work assignments and review of deliverables.
  • Oversee equipment acquisition, distribution, maintenance, and disposal processes.
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state legislation for vehicle and equipment operations.
  • Evaluate existing and experimental equipment for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Use situational awareness to anticipate and prevent accidents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in at least two (2) of the following areas:
    • Fleet Management
    • Roadway Programs Management
    • Emergency Operations
    • Budgeting

    • Experience with roadway maintenance programs management

    • Mechanical knowledge and capacity

    • Technical proficiency in Office 365 Suite and SAP, S4 HANA, or comparable systems
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

 

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

  •  Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
